The strategic plan for the Local Employment Planning Council sets our direction for the future. It identifies the Council’s Vision, Mission and Priority Areas and the specific strategies that define how we will respond to the workforce needs of both employers and job seekers throughout the London Economic Region. The London Economic Region covers the County of Elgin, County of Middlesex, County of Oxford and the City of London and City of St. Thomas, including all the communities within.
There are five key priority areas that help us focus our efforts:
- Labour Market Information (LMI) and Intelligence
- Integrated Planning
- Service Coordination for Employers
- Research and Innovation
- Sharing Best Practices and Promising Approaches.
Under each area, there are actions planned to help narrow the gap between employers who need to hire and job seekers who want to find the appropriate work.
